Trevor Eichler - ICE Student of the Week!

Senior Trevor Eichler has been selected to receive the weekly Norwell High School ICE Student honor. Trevor is employed at Rethceif Packaging Inc. of Ossian in conjunction with the Norwell ICE Program. He is the son of Tim and Lisa Eichler of Ossian. Trevor's supervisor at Rethceif is Greg Thornton.

Rethceif Packaging manufactures machines that package various products including cotton, popcorn, mulch, wood chips, and insulation. Rethceif will make the machines to specification according to the  needs of customers. Trevor spends a great deal of his time receiving parts for these machines. He checks the product in and then moves the parts to inventory areas. He also is responsible for shipping out part orders daily.

After graduation, Trevor plans to continue working @ Rethceif and also attend college. Trevor is undecided on a career of study and prefers to keep his options open at this time.

Rethceif supervisor Greg Thornton says "Trevor is a very hard worker. He does any task asked of him and we have recently put him in charge of our shipping and receiving. We have already talked with Trevor that when ICE is done we would like for him to stay on here possibly in a full time capacity. Trevor works well with our crew and is well liked by everyone. He is a great fit to our Rethceif team."

Norwell ICE coordinator Ron Harnish adds that "Trevor is exactly what the ICE Program is all about. He is working at a job attaining skills he will use in his adult life. He is a positive asset for his employer and is building his resume every day. Trevor is a solid student in the classroom meeting the demands of ICE. He is excellent with discussion, attendance, attitude, and work ethic. I really enjoy having Trevor in the program and I know he will be a success with any career choice. I wish him all the best."
